In addition to using from the inventory, allow the option to read and eat/drink things from the Basic Actions panel.

If this was a checkbox in character settings, I'm fine with it. I'm one of those people that doesn't like extra buttons, I want to keep things minimal on my UI. So don't force your buttons on me and we're all good

We should keep inventory-use items consistent and not spread it around the interface, which is confusing enough as it is.

This suggestion is just a corollary of the real issue, which is that the B4 inventory sorting isn't in B5 yet because the person who understands how we did it last time has been too busy.
