petition to change the unholy type font icon to a pentagram

As title. I think a pentagram would be more fitting than a downward's cross. Discuss.

I went with "something else".

I think both pentagram and the cross of St Peter are too closely tied to real world iconography.

Maybe something based more on the game lore would be better. Would one of the Evil Powers symbols work?

very good point, ill change my vote if we could settle on something.There are 3 evil elder powers - whomst do you choose? also i feel it should be instantly recognizable by a newish player. The pentagram certainly has other meanings than "unholy", but my assumptions are high that a lot of newish players would assume right about font type.

My first thought is to base it on Tholaghru's symbol, as I think that is the best for a simpler icon. Someone more versed in the game lore could probably provide a better answer.

Agreed that it needs to be recognizable to a newer player as "unholy" or at least clearly evil. Maybe surrounded by black flames or something like that?

The thought that was running through my head that I haven't had a chance to mock up was the symbols of the 3 evil elder powers around a black and red fuzzy snake.

Given that only Wyrm Masters can create Unholy fonts, some take on the Wyrm Master symbol might also fit well.

A slightly simplified version of the WM logo made the colour of the current unholy font does feel pretty good at conveying opposite to holy.
