The extra burden in relation to MO deglyphing is a needless raiding/planning addon that has waylaid quite a few raids last breath, and this one, for unaligned factions.
Not only do we need to ensure we have a deglypher but also one of the right MO for the likely glyphs present.
A good MO wizard raiding with their unaligned faction should be able to target and pop a glyph vs evil inside a good stronghold to aid their team. Especially considering they have complete autonomy to kill its caster
So Id suggest uncoupling glyph dispelling from personal MO. Any deglypher can target any glyph regardless of its and theirs MO. This should/could also extend to generic attacks as well but I'm picking my battles
If one of the issues is target pane clutter then have it as a personal char option to hide glyph dispelling for glyphs of your alignment or add in more visual cues in the pane like MO circles

Sunset Shimmer attacked you with a Frozen Gauntlet and hit for 62 points of holy damage. She was hiding! This attack was charged with righteous wrath! Their body strained with holy resolve as they added physical power to this attack! (2021-11-22)
Can point out that it is also a bit buggy given that I have had glyphs not actually become targettable even after they were actually affecting me. Particularly annoying for balance NCs deglyphing as they are probably starting closer aligned to the target even if their faction mates aren't.
Probably better fixed by allowing anyone to attack any glyph than actually trying to troubleshoot that bug...
