- Rusty Ratbeard attacked you with a Fangs and hit for 13 points of piercing damage. (2025-10-01 22:48:51)
- You take a moment to concentrate your inner hatred; suddenly, with great violence, your mortal shell explodes, spewing hatred and hellfire everywhere. Your attack affected 1 characters and/or pets. Total damage done was 0, total effective soaks were 0, total ignored soaks were 0, and total applied soaks were 0. (2025-10-01 22:48:54)
- Your mortal shell explodes in a blast of hellish fury! (2025-10-01 22:48:54)
- Rusty Ratbeard attacked you with a Fangs and hit for 21 points of piercing damage. This was enough to kill you! (2025-10-01 22:48:54)
Inspired by this. You'll note that, despite putting his actual teeth in King Ramses' mummified flesh, that Rusty Ratbeard took appeared to take absolutely no damage. Given that he physically put his actual face in an exploding flesh bomb, you'd think that'd cause King Ramses to blow up literally in his face.
So I'd like to suggest, similar to acid blood, that bite attacks that kill a pariah (exit) takes full or at least HEAVY damage from the explosion.

Re: Class: Bite attacks on Pariahs should get full Explosive Murder damage.
To take the side of game mechanics for a moment: Revenants are already going to be taking damage while trying to bite thru the tough hides of IBs, generally eating 10HP per attack and only recovering 9HP, at best, on a hit. Saying that the Rev should take an automatic 30HP of damage on top of that (60HP if doubled) is just going to discourage any Revenant from attacking any IB target. And from my experience, Revenants are usually the only thing that would even bother attacking an IB - except maybe another IB. Stygia towards the end of B5 has a glut of NPC Behemoths just all over the place, and I'm sure it's largely because nobody wanted to bother killing them; Too much soak, too much HP, too much damaging aura to bother.
By contrast, a Rev only takes 20HP damage from Acid Blood, and has plenty of opportunity to switch to another effective weapon to take the Wyrm Master down. They're also not taking constant damage every time they attack the WM, meaning that they don't get healing, but they can still kill one pretty easily. (Pets nonwithstanding.)
Also, if I may point out: Wolves can easily be biting at the arms or legs - that's arguably more common for wolves - and Bats can bite you anywhere. It's not always a solid chomp of teeth around the neck or trying to bite their heart out. So the explosion isn't necessarily going to be "in the mouth" of the Rev even if it kills with a bite attack.
