VW: worldstep to valhalla ends up in twisted space

i stepped wrong, i think, this shouldn't happen right>?

ಠﭛಠ the voidwalker id=13762 stepped in the most unfortunate position. Selected "valhalla" and instead of a walkable square i was teleported to 12,12 (outside the dome?? trapped inside the dome wall???) and unable to move.

This is puzzling. The code has a default set of coordinates it respawns someone to if it can't find a valid respawn tile, which defaults to 12,12. This goes to undefined space in Cordillera, since the game stores the Valhalla dome interior and the Wilderness as separate maps under the hood.

I can't really see how this happened in your situation (respawn code should have no trouble finding hundreds of valid destinations in Cordillera!), and couldn't reproduce it - but in B6, all respawnable planes have a valid destination at 12,12 so even if this somehow crops up again there it won't hurt anyone.
