oh i totally misread your post, that is an interesting idea. I thought you meant that VW could see shadows on tiles with people hidden inside in addition to people not hiding

Oh yeah I meant that you'd get a message like "You sense a presence in the area" if someone is hiding and you have ES, not for them to show up in windows.

You could make it so that when a VW searches, if they find a person (not including allies/factionmates) they are returned 1 /2/3 AP, whatever makes sense balance wise.
That functionality could be packaged onto an existing skill or become its own skill. At that point while not ES, searching for targets is still easier for VW than others.

If I was going to make it, its own skill.

Maybe something like when you find someone on a successful search you gain 5 AP. You cannot regain more than 15 AP in this fashion in a 24 hr period. Any AP that would've put you over your max is instead converted to XP and MP at a ratio of 2 and 1, respectively.

Probably off, but basically VW gets extra search attempts for finding targets, but only players.
