Target shooting is considered a "character" on xp pourpose

Post by bedemon »

Hello, so I was target shooting and this happened:
- You take aim at the target with your Ice Dart and hit! The target has been destroyed! You gain 8 experience points! (2022-12-12 20:01:19).
- You have reached the daily XP gain cap of 250 XP from a single other character in a 24-hour period. (2022-12-12 20:01:21).

So, target shooting is considered to be character and I guess it shouldn't be.

Under the hood, it tracks the non-you character who set up the target as the "source" of the XP, which counts toward the cap. If you're shooting targets consistently left by one person, it'll count toward the total as surely as if you were shooting them.
Katerina Hasheen - Champion of a better Hashaa
Iron John Mainstay - Free Anchor Pirate turned Privateer
Laeitia Maitland - Grand Aberloch mech pilot, stranded and none too pleased about it
Erduhr-Khazai - Dragon of Tlacolotl, pillager of planes
