Transcension respawn not working properly

From wiki:
This will always lead to a respawn in Purgatorio and will have a discount of Level/6 AP, rounded down. In addition, Transcends who use an Transcension Respawn will gain one random Potion effect or Golem Form.

Killjoy did enjoy a very modest 'discount' on respawning (a humble 1 AP).
No random potion was gained. (easy to be sure; I still have none)
Nor was my curiosity about what a "golem form" could be satisfied.

this skill can't respawn you in purgatorio until purgatorio is actually accessible under normal means

if it did then you'd be pretty much completely cut off from the game and possibly stuck

the extraneous effects of aligned respawns are tied to respawning in that plane successfully, which currently isn't possible

I could not reproduce the bug of not getting a status effect on respawn.

Presto isn't getting any status effect or message on transcension respawn.

No random potion was gained. (easy to be sure; I still have none)

Note that it's a potion *effect* you're supposed to get, not a potion in inventory. Once Purg is accessible, hopefully all will work as intended.

to clarify this i tested this on dev to see if what i saw in the code held up

as expected, everything worked as it should when doing an aligned respawn, reduced ap cost + large potion status

then i disabled planar respawns in the configuration

not only did this make me not receive a large potion status as per the code but also respawned for normal cost

so as noted before except with 100% dead certain accuracy

I have done an edit on devserver to untether the buff rewards from outer plane accessibility. If the next patch happens before outer planes open, this'll be in the next patch.

Huh, is that a good thing?
It makes this skill pretty strong.

technically it just enables the boost on it early on when OPs aren't open which puts it in a weird spot mechanics-wise

but my primary issue with it was that doesn't do anything early on so as long as it does or isn't buyable then either way
