Found one that was so odd, it doesn't show up in the log. The alert told me that it appeared to be a crumpled note, rather than a book; I'm wondering if it's the site of a mystery in-game, but I'm far too disoriented and easily lost to investigate it.
Something about Westside, and Lady Luck? Perhaps a pithier soul than I might find something useful...

You read the book. It's a cautionary tale regarding stray cats. It suggests feeding them on sight, while keeping maximum distance. You learned something from the book! You gained 10 XP and a claw mark on your cheek.

You read the book. It's a rulebook for Nexus War, the tabletop game. Unfortunately, there is a misprint involving a wolf with no mouth.
