Back in the fight after a prolonged absence

Post by snurpt »

I haven‘t been active since NexusWars days of yore, and I only even remember two of my old alts (Hellequin the Void Walker and Gerol Steiner the Eternal Soldier), but better late than never!

I also seem to remember a rather fun faction led by a Ms. Stabby having been located in Elysium and bringing decidedly neutral Justice to a location near you, soon! If someone were able to point me in the right direction, I‘d be ever so thankful.
Now, I‘ve already run into quite a few familiar names and faces, so I‘m sure the trend will continue. Until we meet again, in thunder, lightning or scrounging for lore in the most unlikely tiles - happy hunting!
a pink cocker spaniel, really an oddly colored canine
a scrawny kid in a hero costume, making a difference
Brother Fugue, hard to recall even on a good day
Opher Foxaches, malarky done right
Quinn Tessance, an outlaw with a touch of whimsy
the Butch West India Company man, real gentlemen never go out of style

Welcome! Always good to see people returning to the spiritual successor of the game.

Perhaps the biggest difference between Nexus Clash and Nexus War is probably Pet Decay. No more factions dedicated towards Hashaa that just churn out pets and crash the server when they get involved in raids. =) Pets either lose AP with each AP tick, or they are limited in the number you can summon.
The Elementalist has no pets with Pet Decay, but all pets are limited in the number that can be summoned.
The other petmasters can maintain a large swarm with enough MP and Passive Regeneration (an ability you can turn on when you can summon pets, to automatically spend MP to rejuvenate them) but it ends up quite costly.

There have been plenty of other changes, like morality being more granular, heavy weapons being introduced, and how enchanted items now work, but I'll let you explore and find things out for yourself. There's also a Discord now, if you want to talk with people or get questions answered reasonably quickly.

P.S. The link to the first character in your signature is formatted incorrectly, starting with "www,nexusclash,com/www,nexusclash,com/clash,php" and so linking to a 404.
