Exhausted gems still get dissolved

Per recent patch notes this should not be the case.
I bought back pattern weaver and this was a nasty surprise
- (2 times) With the departure of the last of the magic in the spellgem, it suddenly softens and liquefies, running through your fingers as dissolves and is lost. It has been removed from your inventory. (2022-08-18 20:32:44).
