I've searched the location of the Wellspring exploration badge with an alt that doesn't have the badge.
It didn't grant me the badge. I'm unssure if I don't have it and it's not on the spot anymore or if I have it and it's not displayed.

Your logs show that you didn't ever visit the real badge location. I've DMed you the real coordinates, but this isn't a bug as far as I can tell.
