Bone Guardians not immune to death damage

My lich (charid 1743) got into a petbattle with another lich (charid 13420), so I dropped a few bone trinkets that I had.
When the bone guardians were attacking the other lich, they were taking damage from their death aura (of the crypt).
Additional info: My lich does not currently have bone seeker and bone trinket, but the trinkets were made by them while they still had both skills.
