fists of holy resolve on wards

This skill is very inconsistent on wards. Sometimes, you get the holy typing and damage, sometimes you don't. You pay the HP whether or not you get the damage boost.
Initial investigations indicated that it worked on good wards, but failed on evil/neutral wards.
