Corruptor attacks on pets - whitescreen

This seems similar to the Cut the Silver Cord bug that has been squashed. When I attack feral imps with Tainted Wings (this kills the imp), using Life Vampire I either miss or get:
-A blank white screen
-No log messages
-No ice
-No imp left to tell the tale

I haven't really experimented with all of the variables such as other attack charges, other weapons, or a non-fatal dose. I do feel like it happened once on a player-controlled pet as well but I'm not certain.

There is definitely something busted here, I managed to replicate it on live but it wasn’t consistent enough to pinpoint where the failure is happening. Strangely enough I couldn’t replicate it on test, so there must be some factor that I’m not seeing.

This has happened to me too. I was a Seraph, using eye of clockwork precision. I was also flying. They were hellhounds owned by another player. On what would have killed them I got a blank screen. No kill message but they were gone. Did not happen on their imps for whatever reason.

I've had this happen a few times on my IB attacking imps/hellhounds, where the game whitescreens as I attack, and when I reload it, the pet is gone, and there is no message log I attacked, and I don't seem to have used any AP or MP for the attack.

I also have a feeling this happened against my lich (clash.php?op=character&id=7870) recently, where it died without any clear attack against it mentioned in the message log.

I think I might have figured this one out, I'm going to leave this thread open for now though. Hopefully no one experiences this after the next game update.
