Using Font MP to Fly when at 0MP

Trying to use fly when at 0 MP while tapped into a font with appropriate resources and no bars against my character, I am still unable to use Fly.
While untapped the button is disabled. Once tapped the button lights up, but still gives red text stating lack of MP for that skill.
