Nexus Clash

There has been an increase in server latency the last few days causing odd behaviour. Since it takes long enough for me to be allowed to input two commands in the time it takes to return the response, I can move twice before it loads.

Weirdly, as a pet owner, I'll move twice and leave my pets behind.

Suggested fix would probably be to disable inputs from the user once they've hit a command until they receive the response? I think the big issue is how misclicking and properly clicking but there's some latency feel exactly the same to the user, so clicking twice is more common. There's no indicator really that you're just waiting for response.

lots of undesirable things start occurring when server loop gets this laggy ye, think it needs a restart, though there's an opportunity for a bit of performance debugging to see what's getting so caught up as well
