When I tapped into a ley line, it showed only 1 MP left in its reserves. I figured what the hell, free 1 MP is free 1 MP. So I cast a summon while tapped.
The summoning drained the font, but did not take any of my MP in doing so. So essentially the void ate 19 MP off the summon cost. I found a second nearly-tapped ley line nearby and the same behavior happened with a different type of summon.
I assumed any MP cost not covered by the ley line should be taken from my MP pool. Is it possible the font is going into "negative MP" like players do?

I am the filthiest casual.
Re: Fonts allow overdraw
probably related to how there's some sort of blocker in place preventing players from going into negative mp
which i think should go away in general precisely due to stuff like this
