Per the drop-down, the spear is at three enchantments. Pretty sure the enchanter put six on there, but waiting for confirmation on that. I just got the spear, and haven't used it or died since.
Looks like all three enchants go dormant once a minute, every minute. But keep showing as active on the weapon drop-down.

The enchanter confirmed they put six enchantments on it. And they kept going dormant for them too.
Incidentally, my other character Ware the Hare has a bunch of weapons he enchanted for himself. They're not going dormant, and work as expected since the change; but he enchanted them before the recent change.
