Ice Katar damage flat even with combos

You attack xxxx with your Ice Katar and hit for 12 points of cold damage. You dealt 4 more damage from a combination attack! You gain 12 XP. This was enough to kill them! You gain an additional 30 Experience Points! (2024-01-29 21:16:44).

Different combo levels, same damage. No tests of other new weaponry but suspect the case may be the same.
