My good factioned sorc was standing on a Purg square infused to Moral Freedom 110 points deep.
When they dropped 5 infusion they received the following message: "- You spend 5 magic points, feeling the power flow from you and into this location. You feel this area become more strongly attuned to the forces of Good. You gain 5 XP for your efforts. (2021-12-29 13:05:31)." and the depth increased to 115 points for Moral Freedom.
As he was in a good faction infusing for good then the following should have happened as far as I am aware:
He infuses for good so the tile should have dropped to 105 points for Moral Freedom
As he infused an alignment opposed square he should have gained 10xp, not the 5xp as if he was infusing an attuned tile
The text should read something along the lines of "feeling the power flow from you and into this location. This area is still attuned to other powers." Not as if the tile was attuned to good already

Screenshots below. Ive tried this on about 3 tiles so far and always the same outcome in Purg. Dont know about the other alignments / planes or their intersection.

I brought this exact thing up the other day in dev chat. Supposedly, it works as intended. Follow up question is did you also buy Transcension hoping for easy access to 2x infusion xp in Purg like I did?

Nopa, just a happenstance spawn. However, that seems odd and contradictory to the framing on the wiki that your faction alignment overrides your actual alignment/class for the purpose of infusion. Bit concerned as it means my good factioned neutral class can never contribute towards good infusion in Purg now I suppose.
Regardless if it does remain this way then the text when infusing needs to be amended as it clearly says "further aligned to good" when the exact opposite occurred and as it stands apart from logic the wiki has provided it will be constantly flagged as a bug by players.
