Create a status effect which shows the time leash to your domain. It should tick up while you're in your domain up to the cap, and down while you're outside your domain.

The numbers are deliberately ambiguous as befits a mysterious, lore-heavy endgame mechanic. The actual numbers aren't displayed on purpose and won't be displayed in numbers terms.

Maybe a vague "you sense that your grip on the land is tenuous" vs "you sense that your grip on the land is strong" flavor text when you're actually in your domain would be better than nothing though.
