Crafting grenades

We can build guns out of steel and wood, and make ammo with a bottle of gunpowder, grenades shouldn't be harder than both of those, right? Would this be too strong for raiding, dumping 5 frag grenades into a SH?

prol not, though i'd have to refine chont grenades a fair bit harder if they were more directly obtainable than a byproduct
