Wizard
In the final days of Breath 5, the Wizards’ Council of Keys went on a daring quest, sacrificing their hidden base of operations as it was in a bid for greater power. The ramifications of this act have manifested in the Nexus:
  • The Council of Keys has access to new Weave of Magic options.
  • The roster of the Council of Keys has grown, making room for new Councillors of Glyph and Buffing magic.
  • A new 30 CP Wizard charged attack skill, Wild Magic - for a cost in MP, a Wizard may randomize the damage type of their attack weighted among the spells they know, boosting its impact and chancing on the possibility of added Supplemental Damage.
  • A new 60 CP Wizard child skill of Magical Reserves, Elemental Embodiment - the Wizard may temporarily set one of a series of potent status effects based on a combat spell element they have mastered. Each of these status effects is different, but all grant +2 damage and soak toward the damage type in question. The Wizard must have mastered a combat spell element (every spell of e.g. Fire, Slashing, etc.) for this skill to do anything.
  • Somewhere in the Nexus, the gates of a lost realm beckon to Archmages.
Game Mechanics
  • Grim Mien now has a 15-minute duration, and costs 5 MP to renew for another 15 minutes.
  • Hellsprites now heal their master while attacking by an amount equal to damage dealt + 2. This healing is not hindered by Blasphemy vs Alonai.
  • The Monument of Balance upgrade no longer requires a neighborhood to be controlled by Unaligned (as neighborhood control isn't currently turned on). Instead, it deals damage on tiles within three tiles of the stronghold, as long as those tiles are part of the same neighborhood.
Quality of Life and Interface
  • Characters with the Open Wormhole skill can now see who made a wormhole in the area.
  • Updated the Faction permissions options page, adding permissions for buying Ship Engines, Secure Anchoring and Engine Boosters, as well as permissions for navigating ships. The Adamant Denial upgrade has been removed from this interface. Navigating ships, like stronghold setting and removal, is a permission always available to Lieutenants, though Faction permissions customization can be used to extend it to lower ranks.
Major Bugs
  • Fixed an issue preventing Dark Pact users from using the pacted skill on the final activation.
  • Reordered mortal respawn conditions to prioritize stronghold-adjacent instead of corpse-adjacent locations
  • Reworked Psychic Bloodhound's enhancement to Tracking so that it only shows the infuser's name if they infused ON THAT TILE, not anywhere across the nexiverse.
  • Blessings requested from an Advocate or a Relic should no longer unhide or uninvisible the Advocate.
Minor Bugs
  • Sometimes you would not get advanced Alchemy recipes added (such as when descending as a Fallen or ascending as a Redeemed). These will be automatically fixed during the daily tick from now on.
  • Fixed an issue where some fonts were, under some conditions, able to linger with negative capacity.
  • Ships now properly scoop up people who were swimming in the water tiles they enter.
  • Fixed an issue where Legendary Cutlasses gotten as part of the Deep Kraken loot table were being created with lower accuracy than Legendary Cutlasses are supposed to have.
  • Fixed an issue where Energize increased Morality based on the amount of MP offered in the interface rather than the amount actually spent, which may differ due to the recipient's remaining capacity.
