Game Mechanics
- Tattoo of Dragon's Strength and Tattoo of Dragon's Rage will now apply to attacks made with Touch Spells.
- Tattoo of Opposition has returned as a Nexus Champion skill. This time, it is mutually exclusive with Tattoo of Balance.
- Nexus Champion's Starting skill has been changed to Tattoo of the Wandering Way. Characters who already paid CP for Tattoo of the Wandering Way have had it refunded, and characters with Tattoo of Balance or Tattoo of Equilibrium no longer have it and will need to rebuy it if they want it (they have Wandering Way instead). Characters with Tattoo of Equilibrium have had it refunded. Characters with Leaguestep still have it, though there's some shuffling that you'll see in your logs.
- Typhoons cutting power in areas they hit, a thing that players thought they already did, has been made into a thing that they actually do (hotfixed in)
- You can harvest wood in Jungles (hotfixed in)
- Tempest Straits wildlife are morally true-neutral and will not change your morality for attacking them (hotfixed in)
- Hand-to-Hand player starts begin with a Pristine Katar (hotfixed in)
- Alchemical recipes will no longer always preserve the last ingredient when brewing. Instead, a random ingredient is the "catalyst" and isn't consumed. This goes for recipes with and without duplicate ingredients.
- Pattern weaving a gem now removes tracking records of the gem being passed between players. This was making it hard to track who you got things from and constituted the majority of cases of people tripping over these alt rails by accident.
- Updated tile description chalk rendering to stop double encoding special characters - hotfix deployed 2025/08/06
- Corrected newspaper leaderboard function - hotfix deployed 2025/08/13
- Adjusted character profile picture update in credit store to account for some files breaking themselves - hotfix deployed 2025/08/09

- Updated character setting avatar selector to be more mobile friendly
- The "Psychic Bloodhound" pane now has a name more accurate to its current purpose (hotfixed in)
- Mangrove Forests have red tile icons to indicate that they are rough terrain to travel in (hotfixed in)
- Excluded admin/dev test characters from global statistic collecting (hotfixed in)
- Added a handle to the messages pane to allow it to be expanded easily
- Added craft quality to the crafting message output
- Adjusts messages pane title clock to not roll up to 24:00

- Fixed the mouse sprites so they are smaller #289-#292
- Emote actions that select a whisper target will now be broadcast as normal emote actions, on the assumption that a broadcast is intended.
- Corrected an issue where heal others when used on a Sorcerer under Sorcerer's Might would charge the healer the number of minutes the Sorcerer had left of Sorcerer's Might - hotfix deployed 2025/09/01
- If a Lightspeaker is in their stronghold and the ward is down or weak, their sprites are supposed to heal only factionmates or allies. The code wasn't properly checking for "allies", generating scenarios where it was possible to heal raiders attacking you (hotfixed in)
- Fixed an issue where Hellspawn, Transcension, etc. were granting bonuses but not respawn reduction (hotfixed in)
- Fixed Demon Rum not granting DP. (hotfixed in)
- Fixed an issue where Harvested spellgems had a random attack tree.
- Autofactions will not only buy Tower Transformation if they have a standing stronghold, which no one currently does.
- Fixed some issues with Heal Others and Sorcerers Might interactions.
- Corrected an issue where new hand to hand characters were starting with an invisible pristine Katar - hotfix deployed 2025/08/27
- Corrected global skills page showing bad data (hotfixed in)
- Fixed alcohol leaderboard providing a random leaderboard instead (hotfixed in)
- Fixed a thing where players got a notification/stats for killing themselves with Alchemy-derived Defiler Poison (hotfixed in)
- Fixed a thing where Transcends were respawning with Planar Protection in Tempest Straits (hotfixed in)
- Fixed a bug that prevented clothes harvesting at Open-Air Markets (hotfixed in)

- Removed a hilarious bug that still broadcast the existence of the Void Leviathan to the world (hotfixed in)
