Part the Veil now preferentially targets non-idle characters. It will still raise idle characters if it has the capacity and all non-idle eligible characters in the area have been raised.
Lockpicking has been added to the streaky-bad-luck counter-mechanic for hiding, searching and target shooting.
Being dragged down by tentacles triggers swimming or void falling.
Tentacles now have to actually hit you to drag you down.
The Levitation spell negates the possibility of void falling.
Reforged Tentacles will now retain Binding of Gnak behavior if they had it before being Reforged.
The Eye of Death skill now provides full coordinates only for killers; for victims it shows only if they are dead or what plane they are on if alive.
Added Passive Blessing Gathering for Advocates with Holy Intercessor. When this toggle is active, Advocates with full MP and more than half AP will automatically spend AP/MP to fill their Blessing pool when it is less than full. This will apply to both storage of Blessings with the Advocate and storage of Blessings in Relics, though it will only begin filling Relics once the Advocate's personal pool is full. This only works for living, non-idle characters.
The insidious creator of the Unholy Grail has begun seeping power from it - the Unholy Grail is no longer exempt from Dark Power decay. Under the hood, the Champion of Malice event is supposed to be more of an achievement than what it has become.
Quality of Life and Interface
Sin Seer had the same icon as Song of the Word, so it's been updated with a new icon.
Automatic Renown gain over time now has a cap, to put a limit on the silliness of niche factions that don't do anything to earn or spend Renown having massive reserves. Passive renown gain is there to keep factions from being broke, not to make them rich.
Corrected a faction permissions issue that prevented revoking some permissions
The character description character limit has been raised from 500 to 1000.
There are some new character map avatars for dragon characters.
Major Bugs
Fixed area effects "biting" each other, with sometimes only one being applied at a time. This was most apparent when fog was around and (for example) a Doom Howler used their Unsettling Aura.
Anointing Chlorophilter had no effect, it now works the same as anointing any other potion (it applies the effect with twice the duration). It also removes one random debuff.
Secret Ingredient food no longer loses enchantments on death.
Fixed an issue where once a Nexus Champion had Mystic Shafts, their bow was stuck on Arcane damage forever.
Adept of the Shadow no longer retains Hiding if the destination tile has zero capacity for hiding e.g. Void.
Corrected an issue where pets would miss Locust Swarms 100% of the time - hotfix 2025/06/27
Minor Bugs
Added some code to the AP tick to clear out Wolves that somehow survive the loss of the Shadow of the Wolf status, since the underlying issue is substantially less solvable.
Fixed the Free Will guild shrine to actually block angels and demons. This had gotten broken by something that happened between Arena 1 (where it worked right) and Arena 2.
Added a check to counter some edge cases where NPCs weren't getting assigned to autofactions upon tiering up.
Fixed the summon-cost reduction for summoning Imps in Egg Fields, which wasn't working.
The Sanctuary Prayer no longer hides characters in locations that have zero capacity for hiding.
Tileflipping now unhides characters if the new tile type has zero capacity for hiding.
