Given the amount of hp pets have relative to players it makes sense to me to reduce the morality impact of killing pets via attacks. Given the pets are largely extensions of the character and die with them it feels a little silly the degree to which my NCs biggest moral swings are pet murder (both good and evil where killing a pile of Judges or Tentacles regularly push me to +/-40).
My default thought is just halve the moral impact of hitting pets though it might want to go further.
