my reasoning for this is more than simply "hey this would be funny" but it extends to the conduit's secret ingredient: magical pies could be used as a method of buffing allies similar to the anoint skill used by advocate. it would allow throwing players a way to use conduit abilities a way to support others without burning the person being helped's ap, with the added bonus of pie to the face
