So it just occurred to me, the mobs don't drop any loot!
Alter some (or all) wandering pets, and maybe add new ones, so they have a chance of dropping components and such on death. Obviously, don't know what wandering pets are coming back, but some ideas:
Ivory Guardians - Ivory, Silver
Judgemasters - Celestial Bronze, Gold
Imps - Brimstone, Stygian Coal
Hellhounds - Brimstone, Leather
Wolves - Bones, Raw Meat, Leather
Dolphins, Sharks - Coral, Bones, Raw Meat
Crabs - Coral, Nacre Shell
Zombies - Bones, Grave Dirt, Lichen
Chain Gremlins - Gold?, Onyx?, Spellgem?, Daggers?, Literally anything? (they supposedly steal stuff)
Ideas on new pets:
Various Golems: Iron, Stygian Iron, Red Clay, Lead, etc.
Warthog, Sabertooth Tiger - Ivory, Raw Meat, Leather
Walrus, Narwhal - Ivory, Coral, Raw Meat
Mandrake (immobile) - Mandrake Root, Wood? (fights with an AOE Death wail?)
Shambler - Moss, Holly, Clover, Lillies, etc.

Re: Pets: Pet Loot
I wonder if this should be a skill or a charged attack, wherein using it while attacking gives you a chance to receive this loot on killing the pet. Perhaps a mortal skill called Skinning or Butchery or something.
Maybe it could even be class-specific (i.e. only LS and EH can get pet drops, but only from val and styg pets, WM and DH from val and ely pets etc).
Just some ideas but the suggestion is good as is, +1

I think it's a very good suggestion.
No to skills required for this, hardly anyone would buy them.
Having more options is always more fun.
