Hopefully this is an idea that the back end code doesn't hate too much, allow factions to set a stance towards factionless entities. Would allow factions to set their level of defensive paranoia vs welcomingness to give a bit more freedom for pet targeting with fewer bug reports of "this is an unexpected behaviour". Possibly could be nice to have a separation between NPC/world entities and factionless players but that would definitely be a bonus that is presumably more technically complicated.
Presumably still no renown for killing the factionless.
