Re: A walk in the dark - an outlaw's tale
Nothing in this world or the next was ever certain beyond a reasonable degree of uncertainty. The axiom had been thoroughly established by a spirit speaker many generations ago following prolonged debates with the spirits of the deceased as well as other, more ephemeral entities, or so the book clai...

A walk in the dark - an outlaw's tale
Three leagues and a quarter, past the old Sycamore tree, across the shallow brook and up sheep dung hill is where the last known sighting of the outlaw had occurred. The hill had since been paved over, a small chapel erected atop it. The brook had dried out after most of the river water had been div...

Re: The Typo Thread
Frozen Greaves should be either „a pair of“ or loose the „a“ in the personal description, as in „wearing Frozen Greaves“.

Re: Vulturing, Fallen Strongholds and the relative safety of the Nexus
I‘m going to out myself as not being part of any faction discords. I so rarely open my discord that it just doesn‘t make sense for me. Maybe I‘ll eventually get back into the mood for raiding like in the NW days, but I highly doubt it given my real-life responsibilities. With that disclaimer out of ...

Marker writing didn‘t update
- You write a jumbled mess of cyrillic, sanskrit and yiddish in a vaguely circular manner. It contains words for „raisin“ and „cinnamon“. in magic marker. (2025-11-13 18:46:17). In the Ragged coffee shop. On Brother Fugue . There is a message in red marker in place. This message in magic marker did...

Re: Missing Targets (Bottles) With 100+ Chance
I apparently shouldn't be missing targets (like set up bottles) if I have a more than a 100% chance to hit. I have Advanced Thrown Weapons skill, pristine knives, and the Crusader Blessing prayer in this case for a 105% to hit and I still missed. ( This character ) https://i.vgy.me/k4GcaS.png - You...

Re: I'd like to introduce you to a little game we call "Mornington Crescent"...
Frequently Asked Questions (adapted from the March 1994 issue of the MC Investigator, pages 17-43). Welsh Defense: By the rules of the 1983 book, a Welsh Defense is perfectly legal. This means that starting at Mornington Crescent prevents a player from landing again at the spot and thus claiming vic...

Re: I'm curious....
Since becoming a father, spare time has become sparse. I work a lot, so I try to spend as much of my time off with my son as I can. When I‘m not doing that, I sometimes dabble a bit with Civ 6, Hades 2 (got 100% on the first one) and the odd pixel style game. I used to be much more involved in table...

I'd like to introduce you to a little game we call "Mornington Crescent"...
I was simply shocked, shocked I must emphasize, that there exists not a group dedicated to this most gentlemanly of pastimes. It serves as a stark and garish reminder that society has deteriorated thusly and that civilised and courteous endeavours, however fleeting and whimsical, are not practised a...
