I'd generally consider 1AP/1XP to be the reasonable lower bound, especially since this is the rate of XP gained from a skill like Infuse . The clothing change mentions that characters are still limited to 1 aura per character. Armor is still restricted to either heavy or light+medium. Auras are still 1 per character. Engineering has proved the most reliable source of consistent EXP, at least for my non-caster (and thus, non-Alchemy) characters. Even the ones with Repair Item still picked up Engineering, because there are just times when it's easier and more practical to turn the lightswitch on and off repeatedly...
