The Kraken should be able to sink ships or at least destroy a SH and throw everyone overboard (and attack anyone who doesn't drown).

I'm afraid I might have been slightly misunderstood. I don't care if someone hits level 30 before me. If I had wanted to min-max all my characters with engineering, I could easily have done so. Engineering has proved the most reliable source of consistent EXP, at least for my non-caster (and thus, non-Alchemy) characters.
